June 15 | Horace and Susie Revels Cayton Scholarship | $4,000
Each year the Chapter seeks to recognize a student from a systemically underrepresented racial/ethnic background attending school in Washington State who demonstrates academic achievement and a desire to practice public relations.
June 16 | Careers That Work! Scholarship | $1,000
The Careers That Work! scholarship offers tuition assistance for high school graduates pursuing post-secondary education at select private career colleges in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho
Students: If you are completing this application, you must do so in cooperation with your counselor or scholarship director!
June 27 | Future Leaders Scholarship | $2,000
This scholarship application is specifically for BIPOC candidates pursuing studies or careers in health and or wellness for up to $2,000.
June 30 | Roberto Felipe Maestas Scholarship | $1,000
The Fourteenth Annual Roberto Felipe Maestas Legacy Scholarship will recognize 30 bright students, who have exemplified Roberto Felipe Maestas Legacy. The committee is looking for students who have shown commitment to El Centro de la Raza’s programs and events, their ability to overcome obstacles in the midst of their educational career and their financial need.
June 30 | Blake Nordstrom Scholarship | $5,000
We want to make sure that students get the resources they need to continue their education which is why Nordstrom and United Way of King County are partnering together to offer a $5,000 scholarship to 20 students attending a Benefits Hub participating college. To be eligible, students must be over 18 years of age and enrolled at a Benefits Hub partner college. Students may receive up to two consecutive scholarships.
June 30 | SPSCC Foundation Scholarships | Varies
Awards range from $500 to $3,000. All scholarships and grants are awarded contingent upon the availability of funds. Scholarships are typically offered based on financial need, academic or community achievements, or other criteria established by the organization awarding the scholarship. Foundation Scholarships are for use at SPSCC only and are not transferable to other institutions. Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you do not plan to attend SPSCC.
July 1 | Mennonite Aid Plan Scholarship | $1,000
The applicant for the scholarship must meet all three criteria:
A member or regular attender of a Mennonite, Mennonite Brethren, Brethren in Christ, Missionary (Vinia), or Church of the Brethren church in AZ, CA, OR or WA (West Coast)
Enrolled in a 4-year college, university or graduate school on the West Coast
At least a college junior with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
July 18 | Hank Anderson Memorial Scholarship | $1,000
Any high school senior who is interested in pursuing further education in automotive mechanics may apply for this scholarship. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in automotive repair and maintenance, as well as a commitment to developing their mechanical skills for a future career in the field.
July 20 | The TMLG Diversity Scholarship | $2,500
Terrell Marshall offers annual scholarships to underrepresented candidates pursuing legal careers in Washington state. Law school scholarship candidates must be accepted to or attending the University of Washington, Seattle University, or Gonzaga schools of law, or be a Washington resident attending an accredited law school in the United States. Paralegal and secretarial scholarship candidates must be Washington residents majoring in paralegal or legal secretarial studies in an accredited program.
July 25 | Asian American / Pacific Islander Nurses Association | $500
The Asian American/Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) is pleased to award $500 to one of its members pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate nursing degree.
July 30 | Zachary Scheppat Memorial Science Scholarship | $5,000
Any high school senior in Washington state who has tutoring or volunteering experience and plans to study physical science, biological science, or science education may apply for this scholarship.
July 31 | Annie Ibok Scholarship | $1,000
Annie Ibok Scholarship applicants must fulfill the following criteria to be considered:
Be a rising college freshmen (priority to recent high school graduates)
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Attend and graduate from any county in Washington or California.

FOR WASHINGTON STATE STUDENTS
Young Executives of Color
YEOC is a nine-month college academic readiness program hosted by the University of Washington Foster School of Business. The program currently serves over 160 high school juniors and seniors from 73 schools in the state of Washington. Students attend sessions on the UW campus one Saturday every month for college preparation, business lectures, professional development, and powerful mentorship. YEOC is a FREE nine-month program. The only cost to students is transportation to UW Seattle.
Requirements: High school juniors and seniors. Low-income students and firs-generation students are strongly encouraged to apply.
Deadline: May 31, 2025 (tomorrow!).
Latinx Youth Summer Program / Programa de Verano para Jóvenes Latinos
We invite you to participate in our Summer Program for Latinx Youth, it will take place between July 7 and 31, 2025, with activities for youth from 9th to 12th grade. // Te invitamos a participar en nuestro Programa de Verano para Jóvenes Latinx, se llevará a cabo entre el 7 y el 31 de julio de 2025, con actividades para jóvenes de 9° a 12° grado:

Summer Bridge
Summer Bridge introduces incoming high school students to STEM careers and encourages them to plan their high school studies with college in mind. Our program will take place between 10 am - 2 pm, Mondays - Thursdays beginning July 7. Students will be expected to attend in person, every day at the UW Women's Center (Cunningham Hall, 4101 George Washington Lane, Seattle, WA 98195), and may require transportation to various partner sites in the Seattle area.
Requirements: Be a rising 9th or 10th grader. Must reside in WA. Interest in STEM. In-person attendance.

Summer Youth Leadership Program (SYLP)
The Summer Youth Leadership Program (SYLP) is a three-week program designed for Asian American teens in the Greater Seattle Area to explore their identity while developing leadership and communication skills. Participants have a chance to meet local Asian American role models and leaders, discover Asian community resources, and build friendships with teens from other parts of the Puget Sound. Students also have the opportunity to earn scholarships.
Requirements: SYLP is open to high school students who have completed their freshman year and are entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year, or have just completed their senior year.
Deadline: June 13, 2025
2025 Summer University Application
Summer University is a free six-week program from July through August for rising 9th – 12th graders in the Metropolitan Seattle area. The program is designed to keep high school students engaged and learning during the summer months
Requirements: Be an incoming 9th grader (meaning they are starting 9th grade in the fall semester following the program end) or a current high school sophomore, junior, or senior. Have reliable transportation to and from the program class location on a daily basis (Garfield High School). Have a Seattle Public School Student ID.
Poderosas Fellowship
This year-long fellowship helps young Latinas build the Latina Electorate with an interactive curriculum focused on learning the techniques and tools for how civic engagement campaigns work, why Latinx political leadership and representation matters, and how to build political engagement among young Latinxs in their local communities.
You Grow Girl Internship
We accept applications year-round for high school (17+) and post-secondary scholars who need 6 or more months of social work, clinical, direct service, business or accounting field experience through our internship program.
Requirements: Aged 17+ years old. Residing in Washington State. Identify as a woman.
Deadline: Year-round.
FEEST Seattle Summer Stories
Do you enjoy creating? Want to amplify your story and the stories of your community? Are you passionate about justice? Curious about how art can be a powerful tool for liberation? Want to build your skills in storytelling and social media? This 5-week program will run from July to early August, meeting once a week on Tuesdays. Each session features guest facilitators, skill-sharing, and lots of fun as we dive deep into the magic of storytelling.
Compensation: All participants will receive a $75 stipend per meeting for their time and energy!
