Sept 12 | Solgaard Scholars: Access Oceanic Studies for LGBTQ+ Students | $5,000
High school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students are eligible to apply if they are part of the LGBTQ+ community and are studying a major related to ocean health/preservation.
Sept 15 | Women in Nursing Scholarship | $5,000
Any female student who plans to pursue a 4-year degree in nursing, may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
Sept 15 | Harry B. Anderson Scholarship | $5,000
Any female student who has at least a 3.5 GPA and is pursuing STEM may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
Sept 15 | GoSkills "Be the Boss" Scholarship | $2,000
A scholarship for women who want to be the boss! Any female high-school or college student, who wants to start her own business can apply for this scholarship.
Sept 17 | StudyCorgi Video Contest Scholarship | $1,000
StudyCorgi is launching its annual $1,500 scholarship to support creative students in their movie-making skills. The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship, and $500 will be awarded to the runner-up.
Sept 20 | Barrier Opportunity Scholarship | $1,000
Any high school senior or undergraduate student of Hispanic heritage who is from a single-parent, low-income household and displays academic potential and commitment to community service may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
Sept 27 | Live Music Lover Scholarship | $500
Any high school, undergraduate, or graduate student may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
Sept 30 | Nyadollie Scholarship | $500
Any high school senior or current undergraduate who is pursuing business, photography, beauty industry, or cosmetology may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
Sept 30 | Linda McCoy-Aitkens Memorial Scholarship | $500
Any high school or undergraduate student who is underserved socioeconomically and pursuing human rights, social justice, or social work may apply for this scholarship, but first-generation students, (single) mothers, and those with volunteering experience in their field of study are preferred.
Sept 30 | TrophyCentral Sportsmanship Scholarship | $1,000
Scholarship is open to high school seniors. Applicants must attend a registered public or private high school in the U.S.; have at least a 3.25 GPA through the first semester of their junior year, and an ideal candidate will have demonstrated a unique or special form of sportsmanship, kindness, or compassion

Seattle Youth Employment Program
The Seattle Youth Employment Program (SYEP) supports young people (ages 16 to 24) from qualifying-income households and communities that experience racial, social, and economic disparities. The goal is to increase youth and young adults' ability to pursue careers that pay well and are meaningful to them.
Final Application Deadline - September 20, 2024.
